Cherry G is a professional singer, songwriter, and live performer whose journey with music began at just four years old. Growing up on the island of Santa Fe, Bantayan Island in Cebu, she was inspired by her older sister, a singer who became her first mentor. Accompanying her sister to band rehearsals, Cherry G learned to memorize and sing songs before she could even read—developing her ear, memory, and passion for music at an early age.
After moving to Cebu City, her musical path continued to flourish. With the support of her mother, Cherry G enrolled in formal music training at Salonga Music School (SM Mall Cebu) and the Center for Pop Music. Even as a child, she began booking her own performances, earning income through music to support her schooling and personal expenses. Her early professional experiences included bookstore gigs, mall guest performances, restaurant grand openings such as Jollibee, and multiple features on the local television talent show Singgit Cebu.
Cherry G later relocated to Seattle, Washington, where she expanded her career into both original music and live band performances. She became a sought-after vocalist in the local music scene, working with cover bands such as Harmonious Funk and Groove Nation, and later collaborating with well-known acts including Hit Explosion Band and ROCKARAOKE, where she also serves as a host and MC. Her adaptability and professionalism have made her a trusted substitute vocalist for various legal cover bands and production shows throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Now returning fully to her roots as a songwriter and original recording artist, Cherry G is entering a new creative chapter. Her debut EP is currently in the works, with her single “Prayed For” set for release on February 4, 2026, across all streaming platforms.
Beyond the stage, Cherry G connects with her growing audience through live TikTok performances, offering an intimate look into her artistry and personality. Known for her engaging stage presence, she believes performing is not just about singing—it’s about healing, connection, and spreading love through music. Every performance is interactive, heartfelt, and designed to make the audience feel like part of the experience.
